About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Sales Associate to join our team at Liscio's Italian Bakery, Inc. As a key member of our retail bakery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with the preparation and sales of our delicious baked goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, respond to customer inquiries, and provide assistance with purchases.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the deli counter, shelves, and storage areas.
  • Product Preparation: Assist with the preparation and packaging of baked goods, including slicing, cutting, weighing, and pricing.
  • Sales and Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels, restock shelves, and process sales transactions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, resolve customer complaints, and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
  • Previous Retail Experience: Preferred
  • Ability to Lift 35 Pounds: Frequently
  • Ability to Lift 50 Pounds: Occasionally
  • Availability to Work Flexible Hours: Required, including weekends and holidays
