Job Details

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join their team in Anchorage, Alaska.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech language pathology services to patients in an acute care setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and interventions to address communication and swallowing disorders
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in acute care settings
  • Knowledge of FEES and MBS-IMP
  • Skills in telephone calls, aphasia, apraxia, and dementia/alzheimer's
  • General skills experience in transfer training, video fluoroscopy, multiple sclerosis, and muscular dystrophy
  • Adult experience in coma stimulation and anoxia
