Remote In-Home Support Specialist for Families

This In-Home Family Support Specialist role involves working with a small caseload of families, conducting in-home sessions to provide support and guidance. The goal is to build on family strengths and equip them to care for their child in their home before a challenge reaches a crisis point.
ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities may include:
- Conducting in-home visits with a small caseload size of approximately two families
- Coordinating with local CPS workers to ensure families receive quality services
- Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to teach needed skills to family members
- Preparing reports and required documentation
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in social work, social sciences, human services or an equivalent field of study from an accredited college, with at least two years' experience working with children and families
- Demonstrated ability with providing excellent clinical and crisis intervention skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer and typing skills sufficient to perform essential job functions
