Job Title: Manufacturing Adjunct Instructor

Columbus Technical College is seeking a qualified individual to serve as an adjunct instructor for manufacturing-related courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing course content, teaching an established curriculum, and providing instruction to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach classes as assigned and develop effective lesson plans
  • Organize and supervise students in classroom settings, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment
  • Deliver individualized instruction and provide feedback to students
  • Meet established deadlines for curriculum development and delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and documents related to program administration
  • Ensure consistency in course materials, methods of instruction, and student records
  • Assist with student recruitment and retention efforts
  • Participate in special events, projects, and activities as requested
Requirements:
  • A minimum of three years of industry experience in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Mechatronics, Machining, Electronics, or a related field
  • Teaching experience in a classroom and/or industrial setting
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification, diploma, or degree concentration in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Mechatronics, Machining, Electronics, or a related field
  • Directly related teaching experience at the postsecondary level
  • Industry-recognized manufacturing or safety certifications
