Position Overview:
As a Senior Tax Consultant at Forvis, you will engage closely with clients and colleagues to strategize for the future, ensuring that successful enterprises and their stakeholders navigate complexities, optimize tax strategies, and achieve growth. Your role will involve providing genuine support to both your team and clients, maintaining regular communication to grasp their unique business landscapes.

Your Contributions Will Include:
  • Delivering tax compliance, provision, and advisory services tailored to pass-through and C-corporation entities, with a focus on sectors such as manufacturing, distribution, construction, real estate, professional services, technology, and financial institutions.
  • Assisting in the mentorship, development, and supervision of tax professionals.
  • Fostering and managing client relationships effectively.
  • Ensuring timely and exceptional client service that surpasses expectations.
  • Representing Forvis at networking functions and industry events.
  • Engaging in the proposal process for prospective clients.
  • Participating in campus recruitment initiatives and programs.
  • Contributing to technical guidance for internal and external publications, as well as internal training sessions.
  • Collaborating with your team to allocate projects and resolve scheduling conflicts.
We Seek Individuals Who Demonstrate:
  • Relevant experience in public accounting or a blend of corporate tax and public accounting.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients, managing multiple engagements effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience.
  • CPA license or completion of the educational requirements for the 150-credit hour CPA licensure.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Law, or a related field.
