Job Title: SmartCOMM Developer - Insurance Domain Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SmartCOMM Developer with a deep understanding of the insurance domain, especially in environments utilizing Guidewire. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing customer communication solutions using SmartCOMM (Thunderhead), ensuring seamless integration and optimization for our insurance clients.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage your 5+ years of experience to create, modify, and maintain SmartCOMM templates, forms, and communications.
• Design and implement data models, ensuring accurate mapping between XML schemas and business data objects.
• Develop interactive communications using Draft Editor, Data Capture, and ipdf functionalities.
• Configure and manage Smart Communications Appliance in both cloud and hybrid deployment models.
• Utilize Thunderhead/Smart Communication APIs for seamless integration with other systems.
• Author and consolidate business templates, ensuring consistent design, layout, and multilingual support.
• Create static layouts for print and responsive layouts for web, optimizing the user experience across devices.
• Implement batch configurations, template selectors, and output configurations for efficient processing.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SmartCOMM (Thunderhead) development.
• Deep understanding of insurance processes and terminology, preferably in Guidewire environments.
• Proficiency in Data Modeler, Advanced Template Designer, and Web Editor.
• Expertise in configuring and managing Smart Communications Appliance.
• Experience working with Thunderhead/Smart Communication APIs.
• Strong understanding of XML schemas and data mapping principles.
• Ability to author and consolidate business templates for various communication channels.
• Skills in creating both static and responsive layouts for print and web.
• Technical knowledge of creating batch configurations and template selectors.
• Working knowledge of Java/J2EE, JSON, and web services is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other CCM tools.
• Knowledge of Guidewire InsuranceSuite.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
