Position Overview

Role Summary:

The role entails adhering to established protocols and procedures in accordance with Imaging Services standards. The incumbent is expected to provide exceptional patient care while optimizing available resources. This position is pivotal in identifying avenues for enhancing patient safety and engaging in initiatives aimed at minimizing errors and bolstering safety measures. Reporting structure is to the MR Supervisor.


Experience Requirements:

Mandatory: 0-3 years of experience in MR imaging.

Desirable: Over 3 years of MR imaging experience.

Preferred: Experience in Cardiac MR imaging.


Educational Background:

Mandatory: Completion of a craft or technical program lasting up to 2 years.


Licensure and Credentials:
  • Mandatory: ARRT(MR) certification, CPR/BLS certification.
  • Desirable: MRSO certification.

Essential Skills:

• Comprehensive knowledge of MR imaging procedures and equipment.

• Strong organizational abilities and effective time management, with the capacity to perform under pressure.

• In-depth understanding of total body cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of individuals and provide mentorship to colleagues.

  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality for both patients and staff at all times.

Work Schedule:

Full-time position, requiring 80 hours per pay period.
