Key Responsibilities

Coordination:

  • Assists with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers utilizing electronic systems.

Clerical Duties:

Patient Care:

  • Supports routine patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Aids in daily living activities, ensuring patient comfort and hygiene.
  • Coordinates daily patient care tasks effectively.

Inventory Management:

  • Orders and maintains unit supplies in a cost-effective manner.
  • Assists in budget preparation and adherence.

Communication:

  • Facilitates communication among team members and patients.
  • Manages unit communication systems efficiently.

Customer Service:

  • Provides friendly assistance to patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Ensures a safe and welcoming environment.

Documentation:

  • Maintains organized medical records and documentation.
  • Documents care provided accurately.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Adheres to professional standards and hospital policies.
  • Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification preferred but not mandatory.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Proficient in computer systems and software.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills essential.
