Under the guidance of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and overseeing nursing care, services, and health education for our residents.

This role requires a high degree of patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to provide care to residents in a nurturing and empathetic manner.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the care and services provided by CNAs and other staff members.
  • Coordinate nursing care for residents on the unit, ensuring all assigned staff are equipped to deliver appropriate care.
  • Administer safe and precise medication-related interventions.
  • Accurately transcribe and implement physician orders.
  • Conduct nursing assessments to evaluate the health status of residents, notifying physicians of any changes and promptly implementing new orders.
  • Develop individualized care plans based on assessments and implement necessary nursing interventions to stabilize residents' conditions and prevent complications.
  • Contribute to resident assessments (MDS/CAA's) and the formulation of care plans.
