About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our Customer Trust and Digital Citizenship Tech team at Walmart Global Tech. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology strategy for products and engineering initiatives focused on customer privacy and regulatory compliance.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications using React for the frontend and NestJS for the backend. You will also develop and optimize SQL and NoSQL database schemas and queries to support scalable and performant applications.

Additionally, you will implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes to ensure system reliability and scalability. You will also architect and implement microservice-based solutions, applying best practices in service design, deployment, and communication.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of microservice and cloud-native architectures, with hands-on experience in designing and deploying scalable systems. You will also have a proven ability to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to enhance development workflows and ensure high-quality software releases.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using React and NestJS
  • Develop and optimize SQL and NoSQL database schemas and queries
  • Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Architect and implement microservice-based solutions
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, information systems, or a related field
  • At least 6-9 years of experience in software engineering
  • Strong understanding of microservice and cloud-native architectures
  • Hands-on experience in designing and deploying scalable systems
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines
