Machine Learning Engineer

At Securian Financial, we are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and pipelines to drive business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop machine learning models and pipelines to solve complex business problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into existing infrastructure and platforms
- Evaluate and experiment with emerging AI technologies and methodologies to stay at the forefront of innovation
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Deploy, test, and optimize machine learning models and data pipelines in production environments
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role in a production environment
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and building ETL pipelines using Spark, Kubeflow, and StreamSets
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with NLP techniques and methodologies
- Experience integrating machine learning models and data-driven algorithms into larger system architectures
