As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient care and treatment planning.
Department:
Breast Imaging Center
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize imaging technology to produce detailed images for medical evaluation.
- Prepare and position patients accurately to ensure optimal imaging results.
- Conduct pre-screening and provide patient education regarding procedures.
- Manage patient data and ensure the quality of images submitted to the imaging archive.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment functionality.
- Assist in keeping the imaging area organized and sanitary.
Qualifications:
Licensure/Certification:
Must obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Credentialing in one of the following is required:
- Cardiographic Technology from CCI.
- Radiologic Technology from ARRT.
- Medical Sonography from ARDMS.
Education:
High School diploma with two years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree/Technical degree, or four years of job-specific experience.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in Breast MRI is highly desirable.
