Job Overview:
The AVP, Compensation will be a trusted business partner providing consultative compensation advice to other Human Capital partners and the Business. As a senior member of the team, you will support the compensation function in the design, development, implementation, and ongoing analysis and management of company-wide compensation programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, administer, and implement broad-based compensation projects and programs.
- Lead the annual merit and bonus cycles from end-to-end, including project management, design, testing, communication, training, and support of partners.
- Maintain the job and compensation structure, including identifying outliers with the market.
- Lead the annual benchmark process to ensure LPL maintains competitive pay practices.
- Consult with Human Resources Business partners and Business Leaders on competitive pay practices.
- Work with external survey providers to conduct annual benchmarking survey submissions.
- Model compensation data, develop reports, and key metrics to support our pay for performance culture.
- Train employees and managers on LPL's compensation philosophy and practices.
- Develop effective and clear communications regarding compensation programs and processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and a minimum of 8 years of progressive work experience in HR Compensation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification.
