POSITION SUMMARY
The Logistics Warehouse Operator is responsible for executing tasks related to the shipping, receiving, and handling of materials at RealTruck E-Commerce LLC. This includes managing incoming shipments, organizing stock, overseeing inventory control, and preparing orders for dispatch, primarily utilizing powered industrial vehicles.
CORE FUNCTIONS
- Prepare products for movement within the warehouse, which involves sorting, scanning, repackaging, palletizing, labeling, and wrapping.
- Safely and efficiently operate powered equipment to transport products throughout the warehouse, once certified.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Assemble component parts into kits, package and label these kits, and enter relevant data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Pick and pack bulk and drop-ship inventory for shipment based on customer orders, staging inventory for dispatch and loading trailers.
- Unload trailers, receive products, and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips in the WMS.
- Scan palletized product wraps and labels according to customer specifications and load pallets onto trailers.
- Process returned products, verify warranty status, update the WMS, and prepare items for disposal or restocking.
- Train new employees, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and perform other assigned duties.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma is required.
- 6-12 months of relevant experience or training is required.
- 2-5 years of related experience and/or training is preferred.
- Previous experience operating forklifts is preferred.
Required Licenses
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
- Proficient in using a pallet jack and tape gun.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
- Familiarity with WMS and MS Office is essential.
- Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
- Capable of addressing problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Competent in counting and performing basic mathematical calculations.
- Able to write routine reports and correspondence.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
This role functions as an individual contributor with no oversight of others and no management responsibilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires heavy work, involving exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
Physical Activities
Physical activities include climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, talking, and hearing.
Working Conditions
The worker will be exposed to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, including heat, noise, vibration, and hazards typical of a production-based environment.
