Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our Cardiac Care team at Saint Vincent Hospital. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with our experienced surgeons and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and setup of surgical equipment and supplies
  • Provide aseptic technique and maintain a sterile environment during procedures
  • Pass instruments and equipment to surgeons and medical staff during procedures
  • Break down and clean equipment and supplies after procedures
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe surgical procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate of a surgical technician program
  • 1 year of experience as a surgical technician (preferred)
  • BLS certification
  • Surgical Technology Certification (preferred)
