The Nursing Assistant (NA) plays a vital role in providing resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents in our assisted living facility. As a member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing
- Obtain and record vital signs, and provide psychosocial support to assigned residents
- Assist with food preparation and dining, creating a positive experience for residents
- Provide housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment
- Participate in wellness and recreational programs, encouraging residents to engage in activities
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Minimum age of 16
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
- Satisfactory completion of yearly department-specific competency testing and maintenance of continuing education credits
