About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Fleet Technician to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on diesel-powered vehicles, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts.
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle problems, including electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless operation of the fleet.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in diesel fleet maintenance and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
