Women's Care Nurse Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to join our team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a CNC, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care and coordinating all functions in the unit/department during your designated shift.
With a strong commitment to excellence, you will work collaboratively with other members of the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures. You will serve as a resource person for staff and model a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Required.
- NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
- American Nurses Credentialing Center - RN Certified must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse Diploma.
