Position Summary:
The Electrical Engineer Level 1 is responsible for researching, developing, designing, and testing electrical components, equipment, and systems. This role is essential in ensuring the integration of electrical systems with hydraulic controls and other systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control systems and instruments for various applications.
  • Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout designs.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure effective system integration.
  • Oversee manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing to meet specifications.

  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.

  • Participate in the organization’s quality management program to ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution or a closely related field.

Experience:
A minimum of four years in electrical engineering, preferably in a related industry. Familiarity with marine electrical systems and ISO 9001 environments is advantageous.

Skills:
Excellent communication skills, strong electrical design capabilities, and proficiency in MS Excel and Word are required. A solid understanding of analog circuit design and the ability to solve complex problems are essential.
