We are seeking an experienced Oracle Essbase developer to join our team at Motion Recruitment. As an Oracle Essbase developer, you will be responsible for consulting on complex initiatives, reviewing and analyzing complex software engineering challenges, and contributing to the resolution of multi-faceted situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for software engineering.
  • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term software engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring a solid understanding of software engineering, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Experienced Oracle Essbase developer (6-10 years)
  • Experience developing technology solutions involving relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database, as well as experience with batch automation tools such as Windows Scheduler and AutoSys, and scripting languages such as Python, UNIX shell, Windows PowerShell/DOS command line.
