Epidemiology Specialist

Overview

The School of Public Health at West Virginia University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position to contribute to the department's research agenda in injury epidemiology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced research in injury epidemiology, including transportation safety, substance use, and injury policy
• Develop and implement grant proposals for future research initiatives
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals
• Mentor students and collaborate with faculty members on research projects

Qualifications

• PhD in epidemiology, public health, or a closely related field
• Experience in designing, conducting, and analyzing complex research studies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
