The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team at Proactive MD. As a champion of our Patient Promise, you will be at the forefront of our clinical operations, assisting our providers and performing various tests and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks, including documentation, record-keeping, and filing.
- Clinical Duties: Perform select clinical duties, such as preparing treatment rooms, interviewing patients, and recording vital signs.
- Medical Procedures: Assist with and document treatments ordered by the provider, including laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications.
- Inventory Management: Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly environment, including basic inventory management of supplies.
- Education and Certification: Associate degree and active certification as an LPN or LVN.
- Experience: Minimum one-year clinical experience as an LPN.
- Skills and Abilities: Current certification in Basic Life Support, recent experience drawing blood, and knowledge of HIPAA.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Problem-Solving and Prioritization: Ability to prioritize needs and plan work accordingly.
