General Excavating is seeking a skilled Civil Construction Technician to join our team of professionals. As part of our unique and important civil construction projects, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of individuals who are committed to making our company one of the leading underground utility companies in Nebraska.
As a Civil Construction Technician, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, loaders, water-vacs, skid steers, and backhoes. You will also perform physical labor, place pipe in and out of ditches, position, join, align and seal pipe, mix, smooth and finish concrete, and work with various materials such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, and paint.
You will work outdoors in all types of weather and may be required to travel on occasion. In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
