Swim Teacher

We are seeking enthusiastic and patient individuals to join our team as Aquatic Instructors. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels in a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the safety of each class by maintaining a watchful eye on students at all times.
2. Create a positive learning environment by providing clear instructions, demonstrations, and feedback.
3. Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs, abilities, and comfort levels of each student.
4. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow staff members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
5. Maintain a clean and organized pool area, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Caring and compassion for children and adults
• Ability to work in the water for periods of up to 5 hours
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Great attitude and willingness to learn and grow
• The ability to focus in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to commit to at least 1 year of employment, afternoons and weekends required

Compensation:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $16-$19 per hour, depending on experience. Our part-time position requires afternoon/evening and weekend shifts.
