Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Cross City location in Florida, United States.

Key Responsibilities
As a Forklift Operator, your primary duties will include:

  • Accurately identifying, tagging, and barcoding lumber units in accordance with production orders.
  • Effectively communicating production requirements to team members.
  • Following production orders meticulously, both written and verbal.
  • Performing piece tallying of lumber units as necessary.
  • Utilizing basic computer skills for inventory management.
  • Applying basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Understanding lumber grades and specifications, including southern yellow pine.
  • Maintaining quality standards for lumber and reporting any issues to supervisors.
  • Operating the RLS computer inventory system proficiently.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Utilizing personal protective equipment as required.
  • Being able to work a 10-hour shift and operate around moving machinery.
  • Engaging in physical activities such as bending, lifting, and navigating stairs.
  • Collaborating effectively within a team setting.
Compensation and Benefits
Resolute Forest Products offers a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
  • Retention Bonus - $2.00 per hour/$3.00 per OT hour
  • Production Bonus - potentially up to $3.00 per hour
  • Night Shift Differential - $1.00 per hour/$1.50 per OT hour
