Job Title:

Delivery Driver / Shop Associate - Mechanical

Drive a truck transporting materials and equipment to construction sites, and work in the mechanical fabrication shop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and secure loads
• Inspect the truck for defects before and after trips, and submit a report
• Drive the truck to assigned destinations
• Assist workers in unloading and loading the truck
• Maintain the truck log according to state and federal regulations
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle
• Convey materials and items from receiving to storage or to other designated areas
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins
• Fulfill work orders and requests for materials, tools, or other stock items
• Maintain inventory records
• Maintain the cleanliness of the shop, warehouse, storage yard, parking lot, and offices
• Utilize a tow-behind trailer for deliveries and pickups
• Deliver and pick up permit applications, permits, and approved drawings

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of related work experience
• Vocational or industry trade school a plus
• Ability to possess a current DOT Medical Card
• Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets or exceeds Company standards
• Previous experience operating a forklift
• Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
