We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Prep Cook to join our team at bartaco. As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, preparing ingredients, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare ingredients and food items according to bartaco's specifications, including cleaning and cutting ingredients, and assisting with cooking food items.
- Work closely with our executive chef, sous chef, and line cook team to ensure that food meets bartaco's standards for quality.
- Assist with stocking and organizing daily and weekly deliveries, and setting up the restaurant kitchen stations.
- Responsible for the setup, operation, break down, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment as needed.
- May need to assist with dish washing to complete tasks, as well as sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils, etc.
- Always apply our food safety standards.
- Communicate with fellow team members.
- Restaurant cleanliness; keeping the kitchen and your workstation in our restaurants looking fantastic.
- Help create memorable dining experiences that exceed guest expectations.
