Job Summary:
Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portion and serve food items to residents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Deliver trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Work on the tray line, ensuring that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the dish room and pot sink areas.
- Perform other job-related duties as required, including sweeping and mopping floors, and disposing of trash and recyclables.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks.
- Ability to interact positively with residents, families, clients, center staff, and the public.
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
