We are seeking a highly skilled APIGEE Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing APIs using the Apigee platform, as well as strong programming skills in JavaScript, Java, Spring boot, and Microservices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of complex API solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior developers.

They will also be responsible for conducting code reviews, ensuring the quality and maintainability of the Apigee implementations, and defining and enforcing API governance policies and standards.

The APIGEE Developer will work closely with operations and infrastructure teams to deploy and manage the Apigee platform and API proxies, and will stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in API management.

They will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to API implementations and performance, collaborating with testing teams to develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for APIs, and documenting technical designs, API specifications, and deployment procedures.

The APIGEE Developer will participate in architectural discussions and provide input on system design and integration points, and will collaborate with external stakeholders and vendors on API integration projects.

They will also provide technical leadership and contribute to the overall technical strategy of the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of API design principles, RESTful architectures, and web services, as well as expertise in implementing API security mechanisms, such as OAuth, JWT, and API keys.

They will also have a strong understanding of microservices architecture and API-driven development, and will be proficient in CI/CD practices and tools for automated deployment and testing.

The APIGEE Developer will be an excellent problem-solver, analytical thinker, and communicator, with excellent collaboration and leadership skills.

They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

The APIGEE Developer will be responsible for migrating legacy APIs into OAuth-specific APIs, invalidating OAuth tokens for password resets and fraud, combining API implementations for individual legacy APIs and OAuth APIs, and providing production support for GCP logs monitoring.

They will also be responsible for attending deployment calls for API proxies, AKAMAI cloudlet updates for APIs, and review meetings for APACHE configuration.

The APIGEE Developer will design API specifications and governance reviews, work on APIGEE development and monetization modules, and contribute to the overall technical strategy of the organization.
