The Retail Master Club Fitter is a key member of the House of Sport team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in golf services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with golfers, providing personalized club fitting experiences and ensuring a positive customer interaction.
  • Support the Operations Sales Manager in achieving sales performance, profit contribution, and profit and loss controls by overseeing the sales effort in the golf department.
  • Train and certify all club fitters, focusing on driving sales in services-related areas such as simulator, putting green, Special Orders, Pre-Owned, club fitting and repair programs, accessories, etc.
  • Analyze golf sales reports and data to understand business results and opportunities, communicating the findings to teammates.
  • Offer customers assistance as needed or requested, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor the sales, customer service, and operational efforts of the selling floor, maintaining a thorough knowledge of products, services, promotions, and advertising.
  • Manage store services sales by performing customer club fittings and repairs, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Train teammates on all aspects of services, helping to communicate information to department teammates regarding company initiatives, programs, promotions, services, etc.
  • Assist the store management team with general supervision in the store, in accordance with company policies and procedures, including opening and closing the store and coverage as assigned - Key Carrier.

Operations:

  • Ensure the store is achieving shrinkage goals by partnering with teammates/management to set expectations on how to use merchandise for display and properly handle to ensure all is accounted for.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding store operations.

Requirements:

  • Decision-Quality/Decision-Making Abilities
  • 1-3 years retail experience preferred
