Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and providing information to customers. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and providing information to customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including entering patient and drug information, and processing prescriptions.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of good relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
