About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Avamere Rehab. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our team's commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and execute patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Provide timely and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
  • Develop and enhance clinical and professional skills through ongoing education and training
  • Support department operations and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum
  • Able to practice unencumbered and in good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards
  • Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources
  • Full knowledge of resident's rights and ability to maintain professionalism in presentation
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively in English
