Key Responsibilities

As a
Bistro Attendant, your primary duty will be to serve food and beverages to our customers.

Your specific responsibilities will encompass:

  • Assisting in the setup and closing of the Bistro according to established checklists.
  • Processing orders through the cash register and ensuring accurate payment collection.
  • Preparing and serving non-griddle items as needed, such as breakfast sandwiches (AM Attendant).
  • Preparing and serving Bistro dishes and alcoholic beverages (PM Attendant).
  • Crafting the coffee of the day and specialized coffee drinks, including lattes and cappuccinos, by brewing espresso and steaming milk.
  • Adhering to food safety and handling protocols, including product rotation, dating, labeling, and cleanliness.
  • Completing daily inventory preparation sheets.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the Bistro and surrounding areas.
  • Fulfilling bussing and sidework tasks.
  • Washing dishes and serving utensils as required.
  • Restocking and replenishing inventory displays for guest purchases.
  • Assisting in the setup and service of meeting rooms as necessary.
  • Providing safe transportation for guests using the hotel shuttle vehicle when needed.

Qualifications

We seek a self-driven
Bistro Attendant with a robust work ethic and a commitment to exceeding expectations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to build rapport with team members.

Specific qualifications for this position include:

  • 1 to 3 months of relevant experience; a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
