Job Summary:
WellSpan Health is seeking a full-time Endocrinologist to join our team in York County. As a key member of our medical group, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our endocrinology services.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid conditions, and other hormonal imbalances.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and coordinate patient services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in endocrinology and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a medical residency training program in Internal Medicine.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
