Job Summary:

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. As a Maintenance Helper, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, inspecting equipment, and assisting with repairs. You will also be expected to work collaboratively with our maintenance team to achieve maximum reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Inspect machines, gear boxes, bearings, structural support, electrical, engines, transmissions, etc. and report any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Assist with Repairs: Assist maintenance technicians with repairs and maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment.
  • Clean and Organize Work Area: Clean and organize the work area, including the maintenance shop and equipment storage areas.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Tasks: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Assist with Training and Development: Assist with training and development of new maintenance team members.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 Year Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in an industrial setting, preferably in a maintenance or repair role.
  • Basic Maintenance Skills: Basic maintenance skills, including the use of tools and equipment.
  • Ability to Work at Heights: Ability to work at heights, including climbing ladders and working on elevated platforms.
  • Ability to Work in Confined Spaces: Ability to work in confined spaces, including crawl spaces and tight areas.
  • Ability to Lift and Move Heavy Objects: Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including equipment and supplies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Forklift Certification: Forklift certification desirable.
  • Previous Experience with Heavy Machinery: Previous experience with heavy machinery, including operation and maintenance.
