Job Summary

Bachoco OK Foods is seeking a skilled Live Hanger to join our production team. As a Live Hanger, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality chicken products are produced for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and tear down workstations and production lines as required
  • Receive and process chickens in a humane manner
  • Hang live birds in shackles, adhering to animal welfare and regulatory requirements
  • Sort out Dead on Arrival (DOA) birds and remove them from the production line
  • Rotate positions as instructed to maintain efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25-40 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Basic knowledge of animal welfare and regulatory requirements
Working Conditions:
  • Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles
  • Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions
