Job Summary

Asbury Carbons is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative - Export Operations to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our global customers, ensuring timely and accurate processing of export-related orders and shipments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and review incoming customer purchase orders and quotations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate directly with production plants regarding lead times, shipping dates, and warehouse transfers.
  • Coordinate the consolidation of materials via intercompany sales and/or warehouse transfers for shipment.
  • Liaise between sales teams, customers, and production plants to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records in our Process Pro and Sugar systems.
  • Review and reconcile all export-related accounts payable and receivable.
  • Correspond with quality departments and customers to resolve any discrepancies and issue credits/debits as needed.
  • Manage and approve agent commissions on a monthly basis.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of customer service experience, preferably in an export-related field.
  • Basic knowledge of math and clerical skills.
  • High level of communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Intermediate level computer skills, including Excel and Word.
