Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Design Engineer to join our team at Solize Corporation. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative automotive parts and accessories.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Create 3D CAD data and 2D drawings with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), Finite Element Method (FEM), and Production capabilities.
  • Cost Calculation: Study and calculate production costs according to customer RFQ.
  • Material Selection: Choose parts materials based on performance and cost requirements.
  • Design Verification: Create Design Verification Plans and Reports (DVPR) and manage schedules.
  • Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA): Identify and mitigate potential design failures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with customers and suppliers to resolve design issues and ensure successful product launches.
  • Schedule Management: Manage development and production schedules to meet customer requirements.
  • Supplier Management: Lead supplier meetings and ensure compliance with APQP and PPAP standards.
  • Launch Activities: Coordinate launch activities at the plant to ensure smooth product introduction.
  • Design Review: Lead design reviews to ensure design quality and compliance with standards.
