Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled mechanic to join our team. As a mechanic at Firematic Supply CO, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining fire apparatus and emergency vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with fire apparatus and emergency vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and other associated equipment
  • Work with a team to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest methods and technologies in the field

Requirements

  • Self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of diesel engines preferred
  • Valid class CDL B driver's license with Air Brakes or willingness to obtain within the first year
  • Knowledge of up-to-date methods of maintaining autos, trucks, and emergency vehicles preferred
  • ASE and/or EVT certifications a plus
