Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Local Reefer Driver to join our team at Drive My Way. As a Local Reefer Driver, you will be responsible for delivering fresh produce to our customers in the Atlanta, GA area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver fresh produce to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Unload product from trailer, by hand or using hand cart/pallet jack, and place in designated customer storage areas
  • Transport product down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions
  • Operate a newer Freightliner or International truck, mostly automatic with some manual transmission

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid CDL A license
  • Must have a minimum of 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record
  • No DUI/DWIs in the last 3 years
  • Frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
  • Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 60 miles of Atlanta, GA or be willing to relocate for this position
