Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Vascular Technologist who thrives in a collaborative atmosphere dedicated to the care of patients with vascular conditions. This full-time role offers flexible scheduling options.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

(85%) Vascular Non-invasive Assessments

  • Conducts thorough evaluations for vascular procedures
  • Performs a range of intricate examinations including arterial and venous testing for both upper and lower extremities, vein mapping, ABI, and additional assessments
  • Independently initiates further ultrasound imaging as necessary
  • Effectively communicates results to the relevant healthcare provider
  • Fosters positive interactions with both colleagues and patients
  • Supports the daily functions of the vascular laboratory

(10%) Operational Contributions

  • Exhibits proficiency in departmental documentation and administrative tasks
  • Engages in quality enhancement initiatives
  • Assists in the onboarding and training of new staff members
  • Builds ethical professional relationships

(5%) Additional Responsibilities

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduation from a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program accredited by CAAHEP
  • Current certification from ARDMS

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Experience in intraoperative settings
  • More than one year of experience in Vascular Scanning and Testing
  • Bilingual abilities
