Job Description

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Yakima. As an LPN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as necessary.
  • Document all activities, assessments, and nursing actions in a timely manner.
  • Participate in and update the nursing care plan.
  • Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes.
  • Recognize changes in patient needs and responses, implementing care to prevent risk or reduce risk.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
