Job Opportunity: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Baldwin City, Kansas. As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in enhancing communication skills and improving the quality of life for students within the school district.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Provide direct therapy sessions to students to address their speech and language challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic and effective approach to student development.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Kansas state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
