Evidence-Based Model Trainer

Good Shepherd Services is seeking a highly skilled Trainer of Trainers to support staff in mastering evidence-based models and best practices for creating positive outcomes for families in our care.
The ideal candidate will have exemplary facilitation skills, strong training and coaching abilities, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
This role is a key part of our mission to provide high-quality services to vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in TOT training workshops and consultation with model developers
- Facilitate parent and foster parent groups and maintain Approved Facilitator status
- Train Case Planners and Support Staff to conduct high-quality groups with fidelity to the model
- Guide staff in helping group participants apply skills in their daily lives
- Monitor and track children entering and exiting care between the ages of 0-48 months
- Meet with participants to share information and recruit for ABC, PTC, and KEEP models
- Provide and document consultation for facilitators to support model fidelity
- Model and teach best practices related to documentation of groups in Connections and other data systems
- Monitor and work to improve outcomes related to the model
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferred, HS/GED required
- Applicants must be Approved Facilitators as certified by the model developers
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Exemplary facilitation skills
- Strong training and coaching skills
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exemplary clinical wisdom
- Strong desire and ability to work effectively with GSS foster care program populations
