Therapist Job Description

Turning Point Community Programs is seeking a part-time Therapist to join our TSS Solano Program in Fairfield. As a Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing individual and group therapy to support our clients' therapeutic process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group therapy under the supervision of a clinical or program director.
  • Develop and implement individual service plans for each client, empowering them to meet their goals.
  • Consult with clients' families, care providers, or other significant persons with their consent.
  • Advocate for clients and their families in accessing mental health treatment, medical care, housing, food, and clothing as needed.
  • Complete regular internal utilization reviews and ensure timely completion of special incident reports and mandated reports.
Requirements:
  • A master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
  • A valid California driver's license and current vehicle insurance/registration.
  • Reliable means of transportation capable of passing a vehicle safety inspection.
