Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiology Invasive Procedures Manager to join our team at DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the personnel, clinical, and financial activities of the Invasive Cardiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Invasive Cardiology department, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Oversee the development and revision of departmental procedures and protocols, ensuring that they are aligned with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to integrate programs and coordinate the work of assigned personnel.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality and quantity of work-flow, ensuring that operations meet the highest standards of patient care, productivity, and fiscal responsibility.
  • Identify and address any issues or concerns related to patient care, safety, or departmental operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three to five years of progressively more responsible experience in Cardiology Invasive Procedures, with a strong emphasis on management and leadership.
