Job Title: Dialysis Nurse RN

Quik Travel Staffing is seeking a highly skilled dialysis nurse RN to join our team for a travel nursing job in Tacoma, Washington.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate dialysis nurse RN to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a dialysis nurse RN, you will be responsible for assessing patient response to dialysis therapy, making adjustments and modifications to treatment plans as needed, and administering medications as ordered.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient response to dialysis therapy and make appropriate adjustments and modifications to treatment plans as indicated/directed by supervisors or prescribed by the physician.
  • Administer medications as ordered to assigned patients.
  • Assess educational needs of patient and educate the patient and family regarding end-stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet, and medications.
  • Flexibility to travel to the assignment location and availability to work the facility's required schedule.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of recent experience as a dialysis nurse.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current state-specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing.
  • BLS certification required (Chronic and Acute settings).
  • ACLS certification required (Acute setting only).
