Primary Responsibilities of the Electrical Operations Supervisor

This role encompasses the overall oversight of electrical field operations and resources for all designated installations, troubleshooting, delivering high-quality results, surpassing client expectations, ensuring adherence to project scope, and achieving timely and budget-conscious outcomes. The supervisor is responsible for the planning, organization, execution, and evaluation of projects to meet company goals and enhance performance.

Management Responsibilities

Leadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA) include, but are not limited to:

  • Fostering a team-oriented environment
  • Ensuring quality assurance in installation planning and ongoing evaluation
  • Implementing cost-effective purchasing strategies
  • Expertise in forecasting labor and material costs
  • Ensuring compliance with job site safety regulations
  • Providing first-line support for negotiations and conflict resolution for foremen
  • Coordinating manpower scheduling
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Demonstrated history of ownership and exceptional performance.
  • Possession of a current Hawaii ES (preferable) or EJ License.
  • Thorough understanding of Building Codes and a comprehensive knowledge of technical electrical systems, including both above-ground and underground installations.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in construction scheduling, cost management, and supervising teams of up to 50 personnel.
  • A proven ability to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in organization, multitasking, leadership, and decision-making.
