Job Summary

Compass Group, North America is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sales transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
  • Make change, accept declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment; issue receipts to customers.
  • Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
  • Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
  • Observe customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiate between standard portions.
  • Replenish condiments, coffee, other beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
  • Keep pastry case stocked.
  • Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and customer service skills. You will also need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask.
