Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Geisinger Health System. As a travel MRI Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise to provide high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient care is met
  • Perform routine maintenance on MRI equipment
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in MRI
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
